OK, you have decided you like the idea of Ethos. Now where is the best place to buy some?
As of writing this they are available on three different Cryptocurrency exchanges. But as Ethos was previously known as Bitquence it gets a little trickier to find it on the exchanges.
It is still trading under the old ticker at this point in time which BQX (Bitquence) it still uses the same contract address so the change is a cosmetic change. If you buy of the exchanges you need to buy BQX or Ethos which are currently the same thing. Apparently it is a large job for the exchanges to swap over existing names, as people have old, current contracts on the system and all need to be changed etc.
So now we know what to look for, the next part is which exchanges will we find BQX on.
This currently is HitBTC, Etherdelta, and Binance. Binance has the most volume and in our opinion the easiest to use. Recently they have added the ability to add stop losses to orders which is also a plus point. Onthe 18th December is will also be available on the new Cobinhood exchange which we think hopefully will offer the best option with the lowest fees.
If you would like to sign up to Binance you can follow this link (Affiliate link) https://www.binance.com
Look for BQX/BTC trading pairs on the Binance exchange
Once you have managed to purchase your Ethos (BQX) it is a god idea to move them off the exchange and store them in MEW (MyEtherWallet) making sure you type in the correct url for myetherwallet.com do not just click the search results as there are many dodgy people waiting to hack your accounts and steal your coins and tokens. If you can use a Nano Ledger S or Trevor hardware wallet they are a good optionb for now as they keep your private key off the internet completely. In time the Ethos Universal Wallet will give you a very secure new option using your mobile devices.
